KTHY TURKISH CYPRUS AIRLINES FAILS

Turkish Cyprus Airlines (KTHY) stopped flights in June 2010, to all destinations including Dalaman Airport. The airline was heavily in debt and the airlines base of Ercan, North Cyprus, was left in chaos. The discount airline Fly Pegasus has established joint operations with The TRNC (Illegally occupied regime in North Cyprus) to continue a lot of the flights that were scheduled but under the Fly Pegasus name. As no country beyond Turkey recognises the state of The TRNC no airline flies to Ercan, North Cyprus, apart from Turkish operated airlines!
